Final BE YOU project meeting in Limassol, Cyprus

BE YOU project final meeting in Cyprus

The BE YOU project has reached its final chapter! Last week, the project partners gathered in Limassol, Cyprus, for the final transnational meeting hosted by DOREA Educational Institute.

During the meeting, partners from across Europe reflected on the achievements, lessons learned, and impact of the project, which has aimed to strengthen essential life skills among young people through creative, non-formal learning. Together, we reviewed the work completed so far, shared good practices from local activities, and discussed the last steps before the project’s closure.

Over the course of the project, BE YOU has engaged 90 youth workers and 150 young people across partner countries through a series of local workshops. These sessions tested the activities and materials included in the BE YOU Guidebook, helping participants develop core skills such as time management, communication and teamwork in a fun and interactive way.

A major outcome of the project – the BE YOU Guidebook – is now available in five languages and freely accessible online. The guide combines theoretical insights with practical activities and LARPs (Live Action Role Plays) that make learning experiential, creative, and empowering.

The meeting in Limassol was not only an opportunity to celebrate the project’s results but also a moment to reflect on how the BE YOU approach can continue inspiring youth work across Europe. Partners shared ideas for the sustainability and future use of the guidebook, ensuring that its impact extends beyond the project’s lifetime.
